Wine Education
Renee Dunn has a Diploma in Wine from Wine & Spirits Education Trust and is a Certified Wine Educator.
She has conducted classes and private tastings on a wide array of topics. She prefers to present on topics that go beyond the standard profiles of grapes or regions. She has presented tastings inspired by Wine Politics and American Vintage, on uncommon grape varieties, the genealogy of Bordeaux grapes, wines of Argentina that represent the history of the Catena family, and how to choose the appropriate wine term based on textural sensations.
Renee is available for private wine classes, presentations, and other wine education consulting.
Wine Elevation
Renee has long been an enthusiast and advocate for Virginia wine and has appreciated seeing Virginia get more recognition over the last few years in trade and travel press.
Renee has been a judge in local wine competitions and a volunteer with the Virginia Governor’s Cup competition for several years.
